@Gary: Thank you Gary!
@Paco Díaz: Thanks Paco. No special filter but some PP in Photoshop - It was a lucky shot - they were playing up for the camera. : )
@CElliottUK: OH thanks Chirs. That's so sweet. I lucked out here - these guys/gals/gulls were just so funny - someone leaving the spot and another one taking it - it was like bird musical chairs - and it was eerily foggy that day - and the sun there was - was just right -
@Denny Jump Photo: Thanks, Denny! I just loved the way they all sat on the joists (thanks for letting me know what those are) - There was a point in time when 4 of them were sitting there - One would leave and another would take his/her place - it was hilarious really - but I like this shot the best because of the 3 flying - I'm not sure who got to sit where in the end - : ) It was bird musical chairs - How's dear L?
@Ronnie 2¢: It so interesting that you would say this. I really couldn't place what I liked about this shot - I still can't.
It's odd - but appealing in a strange way. Sometimes I think the "snap-shot" aspect is so powerful -
a moment in time that we have seen with our eyes (in our minds eye, or even quickly in a film) but never for any real length of time - and then when that scene is frozen it brings all kinds of thoughts and feelings with it that we can't describe. I see my philosophical self is working overtime this morning. Thanks so much for your comment : )!
@LauraS: You are a mega sweetie. : )
