"In a shock announcement earlier today, it was claimed that the weight of a 3 ton bird had actually caused a hotel complex to sink into the ground. There's a big hole. Police are looking into it."

23 Mar 2011 6:53am

@CElliottUK: ha! : ) Damn those 3 ton birds screwing up our culture-less architecture that way. I'm pretty sure the police fell in. Oh well. We have a lot of them around here.

Ronnie 2¢ from Atlantic Shores, United Kingdom

ha ha . . I cannot beat Chris's ace Comment but they ought to find whoever designed a building like that and bury him with it !

What we have here is Sir Walter M. (stands for Mortimer) Pigeon...he is the primary security guard for the Norman T. Bates School for wayfaring knife sharpeners and Shower Curtain manufacturer employees, which is the building behind Norman......He is policing the grounds for cigarette butts and blood droppings. A peculiar habit of these security guard pigeons...one that few are aware of...is that they tend to congregate in hallways and alcoves of buildings such as this so that they can practice their call...like singing in the ....SHOWER!
SKree, Skree, Skree, Skree...

23 Mar 2011 6:10pm

@Denny Jump Photo: ha! oh my. This is one smart and scary pigeon. Glad to hear though that the pigeons are finally finding some work around here - and such an important job! Did he have to go to college to get this job?? To horror school perhaps? I did notice a bit of blood on the fire escape when I walked by .... and a torn shower curtain hanging from the railing....ah... it's all coming together now. I think it's time for you to morph into a writer when you retire. Maybe not for children's books though.
